The Sinfonia Orchestra is the premiere string orchestra at Almeta Crawford High School. It is highly select in its membership as its members are expected to be academically eligible, be leaders in Crawford Orchestras, and play challenging repertoire. 

Sinfonia students are expected to perform Grade 4-5 literature and to sightread at UIL LEVEL 4-6. 

Admittance to Sinfonia is based upon audition only. 

The Philharmonia Orchestra is the second orchestra at Almeta Crawford High School. Students in Philharmonia will refine their technique and other musical concepts to uplift them to the level expected of our Sinfonia students. Philharmonia students are expected to maintain academic eligibility, be leaders in Crawford Orchestras, and play intermediate to advanced repertoire. 

Philharmonia students are expected to perform Grade 2-3 repertoire and sightread UIL LEVEL 2-4.

The Cambiata Orchestra is the third orchestra at Almeta Crawford High School. Students in Cambiata will refine their technique and other musical concepts to uplift them to the level expected of our Philharmonia and Sinfonia students. Cambiata students are expected to maintain academic eligibility, be leaders in Crawford Orchestras, and play beginner to intermediate repertoire. 

Philharmonia students are expected to perform Grade 1-2 repertoire and sightread UIL LEVEL 2.
